Speech Pathologist
$150
per 45 Minute Session
Individual therapy consists of a speech pathologist coming to your home, private school, or day care to provide speech therapy and caregiver training, plus homework activities. The rate of $150/45 minute session is for all therapists except for Sean Ferguson, whose fee is $175/45 minute session. Our speech pathologists all hold the highest degree in their fields (Master’s) and are excellent clinicians.
Individual Therapy

per 45 Minute Session
Individual therapy consists of a speech pathologist assistant coming to your home, private school, or day care to provide speech therapy and caregiver training, plus homework activities. The rate of $100/45 minute session is for all Speech Therapy Assistants. Our Speech Therapy assistants all hold bachelor’s degrees and are skilled clinicians who have 5-20 years experience helping children improve their language skills, speech skills, and social competency.
Speech or Language Assessment
$250
per hour
A speech pathologist assesses your child’s language skills or speech skills using standardized testing. We will then discuss a plan of care and create functional goals to meet your child’s language milestones. Includes a written report. The duration of a speech or language assessment is approximately 60 minutes, and can take place in your home, private school, or day care. Home is preferred for the initial assessment.
Speech and Language Assessment
$350
per 90 Minute Session
A speech pathologist assesses your child’s language skills and speech skills using standardized testing. Can include a social screening with goals. We will then discuss a plan of care and create functional goals to meet your child’s language milestones. Includes a written report. The duration of a speech or language assessment is approximately 90 minutes, and can take place in your home, private school, or day care. Home is preferred for the initial assessment.
Family Consultation
$200
per 45 Minute Session
Consultation may take the form of parent requested special time to meet with them to discuss their child, once we have started to see them regularly in the clinic. We may also attend IEP or other meetings, engage in parent requested school observations, write small reports based on what we have learned from the child during our treatment sessions, work with siblings, etc. Travel to and from meetings will be billed at the hourly consultation rate. Telephone, email and any other consultation requested by parents to discuss the client with other care providers will be billed in 15-minute increments. Consultation can also include brainstorming meetings, small staff training, curriculum development, teacher or aide training, attending IEP meetings or observation of the student in the class. When it takes more than 15 minutes to drive to and from the appointment, the travel time will be charged at the hourly rate.
Socially Happy Social Skills Dynamic Assessments
$450
An Assessment is not necessary in order to begin Socially Happy social skills training. For an assessment, a speech pathologist will assess your child’s social competencies with a parent and child interview and child observation within a school or social setting. The evaluation typically takes 2 hours and includes a written report. Any additional time needed to complete the assessment will be billed at $200/hr.
Preschool Socially Happy Group
$125
per 45 Minute Session
Preschool groups consist of an hour treatment session with the child in a Socially Happy group as well as added time to share matierials and work closely with the parent on how they can implement these strategies in their home. We consider caregiver training to be an essential part of any therapy, and so we stress that in the early years it is crucial for parents to understand and implement the lessons that we that we teach the child at home. With daily practice comes competence!
Small Groups
$125
per 45 Minute Session
Small groups consist of 2 students. This group’s purpose is to accommodate the more specific needs of students with slow auditory processing, weak ability to take perspective of others and/or those with significant behavioral challenges. The goal is to move your child to the larger, 3-5 person group when we all feel it is an appropriate time.
Weekly Socially Happy Therapy Group
$100
per 45 Minute Session for 3-5 students
Group size is generally between 3-5 participants. The group consists of approximately 45 minutes of direct therapy for the students and 5-10 minutes of parent education each week. Our clinical staff does our absolute best when coordinating the placements of children in a group. Occasionally students’ initial placements are not successful – and we will coordinate with you when and if this occurs.
